About MRTECH Computer Support
MRTECH Computer Support is an IT support and cybersecurity practice founded by Manny Rodriguez, serving small and midsize businesses in the Dallas–Fort Worth area of Texas. MRTECH also supports businesses throughout California’s Central Valley and Tri-Valley region remotely — we don’t maintain physical offices in California, and California clients are supported the same way most day-to-day IT work gets handled today: remotely, without waiting on a technician to travel out.
Real-World IT Experience
MRTECH is built on close to 20 years of hands-on IT work — time spent actually keeping small business technology running: fixing what’s broken, securing what’s exposed, and setting systems up so problems show up less often in the first place. That experience covers managed IT support, Microsoft 365 administration, email security, cybersecurity, endpoint protection, business networks, backup and business continuity planning, and day-to-day troubleshooting and help desk support. Clients who’ve worked with MRTECH for well over a decade are usually the best evidence of that — see what they’ve said on our Testimonials page.
IT Built Around the Business
Technology should support how a business actually operates, not the other way around. That’s the thinking behind how MRTECH approaches every engagement: start with what the business needs, not what’s easiest to sell. In practice, that means security recommendations sized to the business’s actual risk instead of a one-size-fits-all package, plain explanations instead of jargon, and a preference for catching problems early through monitoring and maintenance rather than waiting for something to fail. It also means saying so when a business doesn’t need something — recommendations are based on actual need, not on what’s available to sell.
What We Help Businesses Manage
Day to day, that work centers on a handful of core areas: Managed IT Services to keep systems maintained and monitored, Microsoft 365 administration and support (accounts, email configuration, security settings), cybersecurity and endpoint protection for the devices a business actually uses, business network and infrastructure support, backup and business continuity planning, and ongoing troubleshooting and help desk support when something needs fixing. The goal isn’t to sell every service to every client — it’s to cover the things that actually keep a small business’s technology reliable.
Experience Across Business Environments
MRTECH’s client base spans a range of business types, and each one uses technology a little differently. That includes professional services firms handling sensitive client data, real estate professionals managing time-sensitive transactions, construction and field-service businesses coordinating between the office and the job site, agriculture-related businesses running office and back-end systems alongside their operations, and small retail, HVAC, and service businesses that need their systems working without a dedicated IT department. See our Industries page for more on how MRTECH approaches each of these.
Security and Risk, Handled Proactively
Most security problems are easier to prevent than to clean up after. MRTECH’s approach is to identify where a business is actually exposed — weak email security, unmanaged devices, missing backups — before those gaps turn into a bigger problem, rather than reacting only after something goes wrong. Why Businesses Work With MRTECH
There’s no shortage of IT companies to choose from. What tends to keep clients with MRTECH long-term comes down to a few consistent things: real diagnosis before any recommendation, straightforward communication instead of sales language, and technology support sized to the business rather than oversold. Combined with close to two decades of hands-on experience across managed IT, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, and business networks, that’s the foundation MRTECH is built on.
